2012 Registration Information for the Oregon Amateur Golf Tour "Where the Amateur Golfer Congregates."
Dear Prospective Members
Oregon Amateur Golf Tour is an amateur tour that plays selected venues in Central Oregon, Western Oregon and the Portland area.
2012 Season
Our Pre-Tour Meeting will be held at Springhill Country Club. Date is TBA.
The season begins in April and ends with the Tour Championship at the end of October. It is open to all levels of golfers who enjoy playing a variety of courses and still likes to compete.
Event days will be Saturday, Sunday or Monday (min 1-per week) April thru October. Most Tee times begin at 12:30-1pm (some begin later in summer)
We work diligently to keep our fees for each event between $55 and $75; This includes golf and the prize pool (some events fees include range and/or cart fees). Events will be held at different venues each week throughout Central Oregon, Western Oregon and the Portland metro area.
The prize pool is awarded in Scrip Gift Cards that can be used at a variety of stores throughout the PNW. 30% of the field will be paid in both gross and net division (example 32 players 5 gross and 5 net). At the end of the season the top point's leaders in each division will be eligible for the Tour Championship. The entry fee into the Tour Championship is free to the top point's leaders.
